Ingredients:
- 2 lbs flank steak
- 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
- 2 tbsp fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 tbsp chili powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, lime juice, orange juice, and soy sauce. Whisk vigorously until the mixture is cohesive and no longer separated.
- Stir in the minced garlic, salt, pepper, cumin, chili powder, smoked paprika, and oregano. Mix until the spices are fully hydrated and the marinade looks like a thick, reddish-brown paste.
- Pour the marinade into a gallon-sized freezer bag. Place your flank steak inside and seal the bag, squeezing out as much air as possible. Massage the bag for 2 minutes to ensure every inch of the meat is coated.
- Refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, ideally 8–12 hours before grilling.
