Ingredients:

  • 12 oz lemon-lime soda
  • 2 tbsp blackberry syrup
  • 1.5 oz Malibu Rum
  • 2 tbsp canned coconut cream
  • 0.5 unit fresh lime, juiced
  • 0.25 cup crushed ice
  • 5 units fresh blueberries
  • 1 sprig fresh mint

Instructions:

  1. Fill a highball glass or 16oz mason jar to the brim with crushed ice. Pour the Malibu rum directly over the ice.
  2. Pour the lemon-lime soda over the ice, leaving approximately two inches of space at the top. Slowly drizzle the blackberry syrup over the center so it sinks to create a gradient effect.
  3. In a separate small container, whisk the canned coconut cream and fresh lime juice together until smooth.
  4. Slowly pour the coconut-lime mixture over the back of a spoon onto the top of the soda to create the signature 'dirty' float layer.
  5. Garnish with fresh blueberries and a mint sprig. Serve immediately with a straw.
