Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (115g) vanilla bean ice cream
- 1 tbsp (15ml) grenadine syrup
- 1 cup (240ml) chilled lemon-lime soda
- 1 maraschino cherry
- 1 slice (5g) fresh lemon or lime wheel
Instructions:
- Place your glass in the freezer for 10 minutes prior to assembly to maintain the structure of the float.
- Place one generous scoop of vanilla ice cream into the bottom of the chilled glass and drizzle the grenadine syrup directly over the ice cream.
- Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle and slowly pour the chilled lemon-lime soda down the inside wall of the glass until it is 3/4 full.
- Carefully place a maraschino cherry on top of the foam and perch a thin lemon or lime slice on the rim of the glass.
