Ingredients:
- 1 lb flounder fillets
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- ½ tsp fine sea salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line your baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
- Use paper towels to pat the flounder fillets completely dry. Arrange them in a single layer, rub with olive oil, and season evenly with salt and pepper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, lemon juice, zest, and minced garlic.
- Stir in the chopped parsley. Pour the mixture evenly over each fillet, using a spoon to ensure the edges are fully coated.
- Bake in the center rack for 12–15 minutes until the flesh transforms from translucent to an opaque, pearlescent white and flakes easily with a fork.
